Steel Reg
I have a set of Titleist DC1 irons with tri-spec reg shafts and original golf pride half cord grips.?
I am thinking do I reshaft these older heavy shafts to light steel and re grip- as current grips are 13 years old and kill my hands now-
Or just bite bullet and buy a set of these new game improver clubs- which i have tried and some days love and some days not sure sure-
Guess its a common question – I am 59 have played golf from age 16 with blades originally- best 12 handicap- probably 20 today-
any thoughts guys?

Why is it that so many want to re shaft clubs when they haven’t the slightest inkling why those shafts were matched with the heads and grips in the first place ? If you are moderately successful with the present clubs, re grip them with a softer feeling material. If you think the ” new ” technology will improve your ability to score, purchase the technology. In the final analysis, the mechanic’s ability is what gets the results from the tools, not the other way around.
